About this ride

Welcome, fellow riders, to a thrilling motorcycling adventure that will take us from the bustling town of Badlapur to the historic shores of Korlai Fort. This is my second bike trip to Korlai fort. The gap between both these trips was almost 10 years and let me tell you, the fort has been preserved as a gem. En route to Korlai Fort, we make a pit stop in the coastal town of Alibaug, known for its pristine beaches and laid-back charm. Here, we pause to bask in the golden sands, dip our toes in the sparkling waters, and indulge in the coastal delights that grace the local cuisine. Alibaug's tranquil ambience rejuvenates us, fuelling our spirits for the journey ahead. As we leave Alibaug, the grandeur of Korlai Fort beckons us from the horizon. Perched atop a rocky promontory, this 16th-century Portuguese fort stands as a testament to the region's colonial past. With the roar of our engines, we ascend towards its imposing gates, ready to delve into the stories etched within its weathered walls. The panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and the surrounding coastline reward our efforts, leaving us in awe of the fort's strategic location and architectural splendour.
